Dr. Snarr is proud to have such a wonderful, caring dental team to help him make Bright Smiles Family Dental of Rexburg a place where patients of all ages can relax and enjoy themselves while they get the dental care that they need. From answering your questions about our services to making sure you have a smooth check-out process, to just keeping you comfortable, you can count on our team to handle your various needs. Lisa (Office Manager)
In addition to being our dental office manager, Lisa is also Dr. Snarr’s wife, so she has been a part of the dental office since it first opened in 1993! She also helped with bookwork for the satellite dental office they owned in Mackay, Idaho until 1999, receiving her education from Ricks College and later attending ISU. Her skills don’t end with bookwork, Lisa is also a licensed Cosmologist!
She has enjoyed getting to know our patients through the years. Since joining our dental office in this new capacity, she currently is also helping at the front desk and greeting our patients. She enjoys working alongside our great team and helping serve the community.
Lisa and Dr. Snarr are the proud parents of five children and five beautiful grandchildren. Together, they like to go hiking, biking, skiing, and backpacking so they can take in the great outdoors. Lisa comes from a musical family, so she often improvises on the piano and learns new songs. She likes to read. In her spare time she hopes to start tackling her old photographs, scrapbooking and doing more with family history work.
Annabelle (Reception/Dental Assistant)
Annabelle has 8 years of experience in the dental field. What she loves most about her job is meeting new people, both patient and co-worker, who share their great experiences and insights about life. She is also a student at Brigham Young University Idaho (BYU-I)
Annabelle’s father has been a dentist her whole life but now mostly teaches which is where much of her dental education has come from. She started helping around her father’s dental practice at the age of 10 and basically developed around the dental world. Her father’s also taught at a few dental conferences around the country, mostly in regards to implants. Her mother has worked at the office as well in the past, but prefers to stay at home working in her wood shop. Annabelle has 5 siblings, two older, three younger, one brother (the oldest), and five sisters. They are a big Disney family and visit at least once a year.
Outside of dentistry Annabelle enjoys building things. Sometimes puzzles, sometimes robots, sometimes carpentry projects. It really depends on her mood and her current preferred media. Other than that, she is passionate about music and plays five instruments. From most to least experience, she plays Piano, Electric Bass, Guitar, Ukulele, and Violin.
Something interesting about her is that although she works in dentistry, she is an Architect Major and hopes to design houses one day. She still enjoys working in dentistry and hopes to for the extent of her college education.
Dana (Insurance Specialist)
Dana is the Insurance Coordinator here at Bright Smiles, bringing three years of experience to her role in the dental field. What she loves most about her job is interacting with patients and tackling any challenges that arise.
Dana pursued her education at Brigham Young University-Idaho (BYUI) and Midwest Dental Assistants School. As a certified dental assistant, she gained valuable experience in insurance coordination in a previous role and discovered her passion for it.
Hailing from Omaha, Nebraska, Dana has a warm and loving family. She and her husband, Christian, met during high school and recently celebrated their first year of marriage. Their family also includes a German Shepherd named Beo (bay-o), whom they enjoy taking on walks and spending time with outdoors.
Outside of her dental profession, Dana expresses her creativity through various hobbies like drawing, crocheting, and sewing. She even manages her own Etsy business. An interesting tidbit about Dana is her deep affection for the color lilac purple, a color she owns just about everything in.
Kristin (Dental Hygienist)
Kristin’s career in the dental field covers nearly 20 years for far! She is originally from Sugar City and studied at Idaho State University. What she enjoys most about working at Bright Smiles Family Dental of Rexburg is being able to meet so many people and help them truly love their smiles again!
Kristin and her husband have seven children at home. When she isn’t busy at the dental office, you can usually find her going on runs, hiking, sewing, and watching movies.
Kathy (Dental Hygienist)
Kathy has been with us for 16 years and has nearly 30 years of dental experience overall. Caring for our wonderful patients and working alongside such a fun staff make her eager to come to work every day. For her dental training, she completed the Dental Hygiene Program at Weber State University.
Kathy married her high school sweetheart, and they have been together for almost 40 years. They have four children and 15(!) grandchildren. When not hanging out with family, Kathy likes to garden, sew, craft, and plan/decorate for parties.
Breann (Dental Hygienist)
Breann comes to us from South Jordan, UT, and she has been in the dental field for over 16 years. She loves that her job gives her the chance to meet so many people and help them feel comfortable at the dentist. She completed her dental hygiene training at Idaho State University and also has a nursing degree from BYU-I.
Most of her free time is dedicated to her husband and son, and her favorite hobbies include reading and listening to podcasts.
Dawn (Dental Assistant)
Dawn’s been in the dental field for two years. She absolutely loves meeting patients and getting to know them better each time they come in. She enjoys working together as a team to bring the best care possible!
She went to Utah State University and graduated from the dental program at Eastern Idaho Technical College. She is a certified Dental Assistant who loves learning and trying new things!
Dawn married her sweetheart 25 years and are the proud parents of two beautiful children. Outside of dentistry, they love to travel and experience new cultures. They enjoy playing volleyball together and experiencing life as a family. Dawn also enjoys reading and can be found reading a good book, especially historical fiction.
Brinley (Dental Assistant)
Brinley has been in the dental field for a year now. Her enthusiasm lies in the continuous learning opportunities her job offers, both about the profession and the diverse range of patients she meets with daily. Brinley started her dental assisting journey right after high school, graduating with her assisting certification. Following her graduation, she gained valuable experience through a year-long internship at a Nampa dental office.
Originally from Nampa, Idaho, Brinley is the second oldest among her five siblings. She shares a wonderful bond with her husband, whom she met back home, and they recently celebrated their first year of marriage. Brinley and her husband share a mutual love for the outdoors, engaging in various activities such as hunting, fishing, rock climbing, hiking, and skiing—anything that allows them to enjoy and be a part of nature.
Apart from her dental profession and outdoor adventures, Brinley’s passion for dancing has been a part of her life since her early years, shaping her love for movement and expression.
Kassidy (Dental Assistant)
Kassidy is a dedicated Dental Assistant at Bright Smiles, bringing two years of experience and a genuine passion for her role in the dental field. She attended Brigham Young University-Idaho (BYUI) but also has dental expertise based on her real-world experience, and she always seeks opportunities to enhance her skills and knowledge.
Originally from Spokane, Washington, she values her close-knit family, including her three sisters. Outside of dentistry, Kassidy loves all kinds of sports and spending quality time with her friends.
What she cherishes most about her job is the chance to meet new people and continually expand her understanding of dentistry.
Holly (Dental Assistant)
Holly is a dedicated Dental Assistant with a passion for improving smiles and ensuring the comfort of patients. With a background in selling dental products for four years, Holly transitioned to become a certified Dental Assistant, a role she finds truly fascinating. She has been an integral part of the Bright Smiles team since the summer of 2023.
Having earned her Expanded Functions Dental Assisting (EFDA) certificate from the Rexburg Academy of Dental Assisting, Holly is continuing her education by attending classes at Brigham Young University Idaho (BYU-I). Originally from Great Falls, MT, Holly is a proud mother to five wonderful girls, and has a fantastic husband who teaches at BYU-I. Additionally, the family has a fluffy little dog named Waffles.
Holly finds joy in planning Disney vacations, baking delicious treats, nurturing her garden, engaging in running, exploring new restaurants, and embracing the thrill of riding roller coasters. An intriguing facet of Holly’s life is her love for Valentine’s Day, which she celebrates by sending Valentines instead of traditional Christmas cards.
Maddie (Dental Assistant – Sub)
Maddie is currently a substitute dental assistant at Bright Smiles Family Dental with five years of experience in the field. She recently joined the practice but already loves connecting with patients from diverse backgrounds. Maddie holds an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant certificate from EITC and previously worked for two years as a dental assistant in Rexburg.
A Rexburg native, Maddie and her husband Tanner have been married for 12 years and have two children, Gracie (8) and Carson (5). They also share their lives with Starsky, a playful toy Yorkie Poodle. Maddie met Tanner after an unfortunate wallyball accident turned from a concussion to a loving relationship.
Outside of work, Maddie enjoys volleyball, music, and interior design. She’s a proud home decorator and loves outdoor activities like camping and razor riding with her family. Cooking and baking are also among her passions.
Jeanie (Retired) Dental Assistant Sub
Jeanie has an impressive 51 years of dental experience, 24 of which have been spent at Bright Smiles Family Dental. Although Jeanie has officially retired, you can still find her here helping fill in when needed. For her, our patients are like family. Jeanie loves meeting new people as well as catching up with returning ones.
She attended dental school in Salt Lake City and is certified in making temporary crowns, polishing teeth and fillings, taking X-rays, and administering nitrous oxide.
Jeanie and her husband have been married for 40+ years, and they have six children. Her favorite thing to do these days is play baseball with her grandkids!
