You can learn a little more about Dr. Snarr below.

Why Did You Become a Dentist?
Dr. Snarr grew up on a farm and worked outside from the time he was a young boy. As much as he enjoyed farm life, he also had a desire to go to college. While trying to figure out his career, he took several classes and aptitude tests, and seemed to be directed toward the field of dentistry based on the results. He also has an older sister who worked for many years in the dental field as an assistant, and he realized he had an interest in dentistry. So, that is what he pursued, and he has no regrets!

Where Did You Study Dentistry?
After attending Ricks College in Rexburg, Dr. Snarr spent 2 years on a volunteer church mission in Chicago, Illinois. After his service was done, he attended Idaho State University in Pocatello. Dr. Snarr applied to and was accepted to several dental schools. He decided to go to Creighton University and was accepted into the IDEP (Idaho Dental Education Program). This enabled him to start his first year in Pocatello and finish the remaining three years in Omaha, NE at Creighton.
Since graduating, he has taken many continuing education courses throughout the years to maintain his credentials. He has attended the Hinman Meetings in Atlanta, GA, as well as others. He is also a member of the American Dental Association and Idaho State Dental Association.

Outside the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Snarr and his wife Lisa (our dental office manager) are the proud parents of five children, and they also have five grandchildren. In his free time, Dr. Snarr likes to get outdoors and go on adventures, primarily by riding his motorcycle to explore the backcountry byways. He also takes advantage of the beautiful trails in the area by hiking in the high country as well as snow skiing in the winter. He enjoys camping, fishing trips with family, and he grows a thriving garden each year.
